Tier III+ Polaris Data Centre - Springfield

Springfield Land Corporation in conjunction with a number of partners including Suncorp Metway Ltd and Strategic Directions, is finalising lease commitments for the Tier III+ Polaris Data Centre recently completed at Springfield in South East Queensland.

Completion Announcement:

Thiess Pty Ltd successfully achieved Practical Completion on 30 January 2009 on the Polaris Data Centre. Strategic Directions in association with Coffey Projects witnessed all interdependency and integrated systems tests across the facility, and all Project Requirements, to enable awarding of the Certificate of Completion on Friday 30 January. Tenants including Suncorp, Queensland Government, NEC Australia and Ipswich City Council will now commence transition into the facility.

  • Average power and cooling capacity from 800W/sqm to 1500W/sqm available from under $3,200/sqm per annum
  • Capable of supporting high density racks up to 60kW
  • Tier III+ data centre featuring N+2 redundancy

The Strategic Directions Group has been engaged by Springfield Land Corporation to provide CIO Services, Strategic ICT advice, ICT Master Planning services, ICT industry facilitation, project management services, data centre design and marketing support services.

The Polaris Data Centre delivers a key component of the ICT Master Plan for the Springfield CBD.
