The first event of the 2010 calendar year for AIIA Queensland, held on Friday 12th February, was a sell out with more than 400 industry heavyweights in attendance.
The guest Speaker was Natalie MacDonald, Associate Director-General, Department of Public Works.
At the ACS / AIIA luncheon in September last year, the Premier launched the Queensland Government’s ICT Strategy called: ‘Toward Q2 through ICT’. The Premier at that time had said that the Government vision is bold with much work to be done.
Natalie MacDonald proceeded to update the industry on the progress to date, the priorities for 2010 and into the future, and the opportunities for industry to support the Queensland Government in addressing this ambitious agenda.
